“No Fanta For Mamiwater, Only Jesus Power Exists” – Man Of God Says On Speed Boat On Anam River Where Actor Junior Pope Died
The recent boat mishap on Anam River that claimed the lives of several professing Christians, including Junior Pope (a popular Nollywood actor), seems to have given the enemy of God and his children a great occasion to blaspheme the name and power of Jesus, thereby rubbing the faith of Christians in the mud.
It’s being assumed in large parts that those who died in the mishap, including Christians, lost their lives because they refused to pay homage to water spirits/the gods of the land, while those who survived the tragic incident did so because they did so by pouring some Fanta on the river among others.
One of the survivors, the driver of the boat himself, alluded to this idea after he was questioned in the aftermath.
Another survivor, TC Virus, the actor that was alleged to have caused the mishap with his actions on the boat, including blocking the view of the driver so he couldn’t see the canoe standing on his path before his boat crashed into it, later made a post and video, calling the fanta he poured into the river to observe the gods, “the fanta of life”.
There have also been several posts online promoting this line of thought, including one depicting a mermaid (mamiwater), smiling with a bottle of fanta on her hand inside water, to assume she really loved and acknowledged the Fanta poured out to her.
Several videos have also followed suit, including some which depicted some supposed false Christians singing the popular Christian song, “Jesus power super power”, on the Anam river, but when it came to the part of calling mamiwater powerless, they would begin humming or go mute for fear of mamiwater, to suggest that Jesus wasn’t powerful enough to protect them from her powers, thereby bringing His name and power to disrepute.
The ugly trend was deeply disheartening to watch as it unfolded, however I took it as a challenge and saw it as a huge opportunity for the true prophets and servants of God in this generation to rise up to the occasion as did the Elijahs, Davids, Shadrachs, Meshachs, and Abednegos of the Bible days, to prove the true power of their God over any other gods, and consequently put the devil and his children to shame and in their rightful place.
Therefore I took up the challenge myself, despite never taking a boat ride in my entire life and without knowing the location of the infamous Anam River. It even took Google for me to know the state where Anam River was located, that it was somewhere in the south east far away from the south west where I was based. That initially made me decide to execute it at any river close by instead to make it faster and more convenient for me, however I was directed by the Spirit of God to go to infamous Anam River itself.
That complicated things a bit for me causing a lengthy delay to my plans, however delay isn’t denial, hence despite the hitches, I was finally able to not just get there, but also prove on the same Anam river that the idea Mamiwater or any other gods wasn’t powerless there or anywhere Jesus power was in this world, is totally false and a lie of the devil.
I even had to go back the next day to the same river to redo the part I gulped a full bottle of Fanta and threw away the empty bottle into the river, because I’d forgotten to remove the Fanta from its black water proof bag while drinking from it on the first day, which I discovered poorly portrayed the very important message only after i watched the video after i’d left the place. Though that was my second day ever on a boat ride, it proved even a much better Holy-ghost filled experience than the first.
The devil is indeed a liar!
